The link between the document management of SAP and the integration of AutoCAD by CAD-Desktop enables an optimal administration of installation drawings. Here both the graphic as well as the technical installation data are made available as Functional Locations and Equipments in a homogenous system. The staff of the installation administration and the maintenance system can access all required information in one single system. An AutoCAD-AddOn synchronizes the Functional Locations and Equipments from SAP with the drawings. The Publisher integrated in the SAPGUI displays the graphically prepared installation data of the company on a wide basis independent of the AutoCAD.
