New Managing Director at CIDEON Engineering

October, 2011: Roger Scholtes is the new marketing and sales manager at CIDEON Engineering.

A new manager has joined the management team of CIDEON Engineering. Roger Scholtes has taken over the management of marketing and sales at CIDEON Engineering on 01.07.2011. He will be leading the CIDEON engineering services sector together with Tilo Mey, manager of Technics/Engineering, and Eckhard Rönnecke, personnel secondment manager.

“I am looking forward to my new assignment. CIDEON Engineering is a leading provider of technical services in the rail vehicle engineering market in Germany and Austria. The company’s experience and its expertise has set standards. I will make my contribution to this success story. The many opportunities available on the market are a great challenge for me,” said the 42-year old manager Roger Scholtes. His stated goal is to continue to steadily increase the company’s market share and to become the market leader in the midterm. Scholtes is convinced: “With our engineering services we can increase the innovative strength and the flexibility of both established as well as new manufacturers, operators and suppliers of the rail vehicle engineering industry.”

Roger Scholtes was previously active as the division manager (Mechanics and PDM) of EPLAN Software & Service in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Spain. His extensive experience in the advisory solution business offers many opportunities for extending the CIDEON business. He also formerly worked for CIDEON Systems and the CADAC Group in an international sales and marketing position. He will now be intensively involved in the further expansion of CIDEON Engineering.

Roger Scholtes studied Civil Engineering at the RWTH university in Aachen. His many years of experience have given him insight into all business areas including top management.
